Taking Care of Your Chromebook

You are responsible for the Chromebook, bag, and charger issued to you, and if you have any issues, contact your STS for help. Here are some helpful tips for taking care of your Chromebook throughout the year 

• Log out and shut down your Chromebook whenever you're done using it
• Don't remove or tamper with the NSD asset tags
• No food or drink near your Chromebook 
• Plug cords, cables, and removable storage devices (like flash drives) in carefully 
• Keep your Chromebook, case, and charger away from pets 
• Don't draw, paint, or glue on or near your Chromebook 
• Don't place heavy items on your Chromebook, even when it's in its case 
• Never let anyone else use your Chromebook 
• Always transport your Chromebook carefully 
• Don't close papers or any other item in your Chromebook 
• Only clean the screen with a soft, dry, microfiber cloth
